So use the formula
Nt = No x e^-kt
and we know that
k= ln(2) / half life(which is t1/2)
The quenstions given
half life(t1/2) = 67 hr
time(t) = 16min/ 60min/hr =0.2667hr
the initial mole ( No) = 2.0 mole
and then just plug in all the givens to above equation
k = ln(2) / 67 hr
= 0.0103454803 hr
Nt = 2mol x e^ (0.0103454803hr x 0.2667hr)
= 2.005525899
and the last step is to multiply the avo’s number 6.022×10e23
The final answer is 1.207928249E24
