Where can I find a Molybdenum Disulfide Dry Lubricant?

Sam asked:
I’m looking for a Molybdenum Disulfide Dry Lubricant. All the ones I see at my hardware store just say that they include Molybdenum, but do not mention Molybdenum Disulfide on the product label or the MSD (Material saftey data sheet). Where can I find this? Specific product names / brands would be appreciated.

We use it at work, but I can’t remember the brand name and I’m retired now, Try a machine shop and see where they get theirs, or a supply house, that provides nuts and bolts to industry.

carries a wide variety of Molybdenum Disulfide products and provides same day shipping or you can pick it up at a local store. Product ID 2F138 seems to be what you are looking for.

Try some gun lube companies. A website that comes to mind is KG Moly.com
The grease works better than the dry lube. It depends on your uses and if the lubricant will get messy….
